Dulce de Leche Quemada
This morning I made this new recipe for Dulce de Leche Quemada. I used pecans to make the caramelized milk and sugar candy more Tejano. I think this is the recipe that I will use for the art show, "The Candy Shop."
1 qt. whole milk
1/2 qt. sugar
1 tspn vanilla extract
1/8 tspn baking soda
3/4 cup pecans
simmer for 2- 3 hours to F 234°
