Satellite Talk Show
One of the highlights of the North South Radio Dialog was a one-hour talk show about the world summit on the information society and its relevance to local communities. Using its network satellite, ALER connected panelists from four countries: The Netherlands, Argentina, Ecuador and Bolivia. This demonstration revealed the power of listening to grassroots people speak for themselves about media issues as these affect schools, employment options and health. Plans are for ALER to do this in conjunction with radio stations in the US, starting this April.

Did anyone think about recording the discussion, and then putting it up on the web in quicktime? I would LOVE to be able to learn from such a discussion, and I don't have access to it in any other way.

Mary,
I am sending your idea to ALER. I had not thought of that. Gracias.
